Mr. K Prasad
He comes in with more than 30 years experience with Reserve Bank of India in various capacities after joining as Junior Officer in 1972 of which 12 years direct experience in the areas of Supervision and Examination of Non- Banking Financial Institutions & Banks including the Developmental Financial Institutions. Also functioned as Vice Principal, Bankers’ Training College, RBI. Before joining RBI, functioned as Senior Breeder with USAID and Rockefeller Foundations.

Prof. Pankaj Kumar, Director
Total 16 years of experience of which 2 years in industry and 14 years in management teaching and research. Currently working with IIM, Lucknow as Associate Professor in HRM group, he is a national merit scholarship holder. He has also been JRF/SRF along with NET from UGC (University Grant Commission). He has developed two New Electives for Post Graduate Programme on Cross-Cultural Management & Performance Appraisal & Management and One Elective for Fellow Programme in Management on Organizational Culture. He has also conducted Longitudinal as well Cross-sectional Research Studies and is involved in various consulting projects for both international and national clients. In addition to this he has designed and delivered at least 5 Open Management Development Programmes every year since last more than 5 years as well as several Company Sponsored MDPs for senior officers. Prof. Pankaj also holds carious Administrative Positions at the IIM lucknow and has been the chairperson of placements for past 3 years.

Kanta Singh- Director
M. Sc in Rural Sociology and Agriculture Economics she has over 15 years of experience in enterprise and gender mainstreaming. Has served as Programme Officer, DIVA-INDIA, a society, working in the area of Applied Ethics. Major responsibilities include coordination of five research and action projects, training of teachers in formal and non-formal schools and networking. Previously involved with Women in Sustainable Enterprise (WISE) 2000-2005, as India Representative of the WISE Team, involved in EDIAIS, a Project of DFID - responsible for research, collecting and disseminating all information related to Impact Assessment of Micro-Enterprise from India and reporting to the WISE office in England. Has designed and conducted an impact assessment for Rashtriya Mahila Kosh (RMK), for their micro-finance programme targeted at poor economically backward women.

Arupjyoti Rai Baruah - Director
Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) - IRMA
14 years of corporate and development sector experience. Has previously worked as consultant for entrepreneurship with UNIDO- Jordan from 2002 to 2006. Key activities involved - Establishing a business counseling system and provide advisory services to potential entrepreneurs for business identification, planning, implementation and management, facilitate in attracting Foreign Direct Investment to Jordan and Promoting sector specific companies for Joint ventures and Sub-contracting. Served with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India as faculty member for 3 years, Nagarjuna Fertilisers as Area Manager for 3 years and SAIL as Management Trainee/ Junior Manager for 2 years. Specializes in enterprise development, business facilitation and loan portfolio audit. Also serves as consultant to MicroSave, India for loan portfolio audit.

Saneesh Singh - Institutional Nominee (DIA Vikas)
A Fulbright scholar he is currently Head of Investments and Director Relationships for Opportunity International Australia’s India Initiatives i.e. Dia Vikas Capital Pvt . Ltd. 17 years in various managerial capacities at HQ, Zonal, Regional and Branch offices of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), an all India apex development finance institution (DFI) engaged in providing promotional, financial and developmental support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Coordinated operations under the Microfinance and Promotion and Developmental programmes of SIDBI at HO and Zonal level. Contributed significantly to formulation and implementation of SIDBI’s MF policy frame work and subsequent innovations, leading to the up-scaling of SIDBI’s MF portfolio, leading to the launch of SIDBI Foundation for Micro Credit. Managed strategic institutional partnerships, business development, project appraisals, field implementation and monitoring, advocacy, piloting/ incubation of innovations under MF, P&D and Banking portfolios of SIDBI

Rahul J. Mittra, Director and CEO
12 years of development sector experience dedicated to enterprise development and microfinance. Has previously worked with Asian Centre for Organisation Research and Development (ACORD), Delhi as Programme Officer (MED) for 4 years and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India as faculty member for 5 years. Established Margdarshak in 2004. Specializes in rural finance, organisational development, strategy development and operations management. Extensive experience of working at grassroots level in North India with strong understanding of local communities especially in UP, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Has served as consultant to international and national donor organisations (ILO, SIDBI, Traidcraft, Oxfam etc) for impact assessment and capacity building programmes. Presently managing the microfinance roll out of Margdarshak.
